Adam Z. Robinson is a writer, performer, theatre maker and workshop leader.

When several wrapped bundles containing human remains are discovered in Moffat, Scotland in 1935 a landmark police investigation begins that will eventually lead back to two women in Lancaster and to the man who killed them.
Based on the true story of the murders of Isabella Ruxton and Mary Jane Rogerson. Still regarded as one of the most shocking crimes of the last century, this infamous case of jealousy, deception and tragedy also marked a pivotal moment in forensic detection.
This production explores why the notorious Buck Ruxton case is still so resonant and relevant today.

Upon the Stair is the third instalment of The Book of Darkness & Light. Three terrifying tales told using storytelling, BSL and live music.
The show premiered at Square Chapel, Halifax, before a three day run at Salisbury Playhouse and then a week-long run in Harrogate Theatre's main house.

Adam has been running creative writing workshops since 2010. He's worked at many schools up and down the county, as well as organisations such as Arvon, First Story and Opera North.
Since the start of lock-down, Adam has also been running online workshops and courses.
